Mary Lou Sharp - Vice Chairwoman
I have been married to my husband Bill for 33 years.  We have 5 grown children between us. We also have 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  .

I have resided in Suwannee County for 13 years.  We moved from Volusia Co. where we resided for 15 years.  After my husband retired from Quaker Oats , as the National Accounts Manager.
We moved to McAlpin and built our home in 1996.

I was the Sales and Marketing Director for Prima Foods International for 15 years and was given the opportunity to buy the industrial side of the business when my previous employer retired. I started Prima Juice Sales in 2003 and was awarded the “Business Woman of the Year “ in 2006 and was  Chairwoman of the Business Advisory Council of the RNC.

As a small business owner I became interested in politics and government in order to become more aware of how policies and laws would affect my business and family.
I worked on the McCain/Palin Campaign this past year and became involved with the Republican Party of Suwannee County in December.

I was also past President of the Southern Regional Foxtrotter Association.  The organization grew to over 250 members during the 10 years I was President.  Our Association held a Charity Horse Show each year in Perry, Ga.  We donated thousands of dollars to Handicapped Riding Programs and Horse Rescue organizations throughout Florida and Georgia.  I am also a carded Judge for the Missouri Foxtrotting Horse Breed Association and have judged several World Championships shows.  My hobby is horseback riding.  I own Missouri Foxtrotting horses and have shown them to several championships in the Southeastern Region.

Sherryl Huseonica - Secretary

I moved to McAlpin seven years ago with my husband, Bill.  Before moving here, we lived in Brevard County, home of the Kennedy Space Center.  I had the privilege of working at KSC for several years as a draftsman/engineering designer. My education includes not only an MBA in Business Administration but also a BS in Business, and education in engineering design and illustration. My education advanced further with training to become certified and qualified to teach and interpret the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator). I have taught credit classes in the calligraphic arts at Brevard Community College; and have taught, with my husband, credit seminar courses in "Personality Driven Behavior" for the graduate management seminars of Webster University. My background also included owning a business as a professional calligrapher, which included retail sales, classes for adults and children, and creating a mail order catalog selling calligraphic supplies.

We are blessed with a total of 8 adult children and 9 grandchildren.  My husband, Bill, is retired from the Senior Executive Service of the US Government as a Director in NASA, and has a Doctorate in Business Administration. He also retired as a Vice-president with Johnson Controls World Services.  I have only recently come forward to be actively involved in the political process, though my husband was an elected City Councilman in the late '70s.
